Liu Bolin: The Real Life Invisible Man
In China, there is an artist who can disappear in any surroundings. He is the closest thing to the Invisible Man. But he is just a regular man, named Liu Bolin, with an incredible talent.
Liu Bolin was born in 1973 where he went to the Shandong Art College and later studied at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing. From his early years as an art student, he became known for his ability to camouflage himself against any background.
He takes pictures of himself while his blending in with the background. But the preparations for only one photo, take up to 10 hours, depending on the complexity. With the help of an assistant, he paints his body so that he can fit perfectly in a background, just like a chameleon.
