5 Things To Do If Your Partner Wants You To Change
When a person is living their life as a single, they are allowed to exist freely. They have no compulsion on them to act and behave in a certain pattern because they do not have someone who is living with them so they don’t have a person to please. However, in reality, when you are with a person, you have to bend yourself a little for them. Your principles might clash with their principals and vice versa. However, how much change is good? How much should you comply with what they want? Here are a few things that you need to do if your partner wants you to change:
Is the change really required?
Now once that you know that your partner wants you to change, focus on what the change is about. Is it your temper? Is it some habit of yours? Have they asked for some space? Just focus on the problem at hand. Then think of how these habits are affecting your life and how the change will affect you. Like for example, your partner thinks that you are too frank with all of your male friends. Think about it. Do you talk to every man in your life as openly as you do to your closest friends. Then think about the impact of stopping all of this and see how you actually refine people in your life. My partner thought so and once I applied this in my life, I was left with a handful of friends who actually valued me and respected me.
